Cellphones can give you Smartphone Sickness or Electrosensitivity:
Cellphones exceed short-term heating guidelines by 11 times:

At present cellphones are tested against the obsolete FCC/IEEE/ICNIRP short-term (6 or 30 min.) heating guidelines based on Schwan's mistake of 1953 claiming the only adverse effect is heating. Manufacturers use a gap of 5 - 25 mm between the head or body and the cellphone, but when the cellphone is held to the head or body it exceeds the short-term limits by up to 11 times (IEEE) or 3.7 times (ICNIRP). Most people do not know about the need to keep their cellphone up to 25 mm from their body to prevent heating effects.
In France it has long been found that cellphones can exceed even heating safety limits.
In the US in 2019 an investigation by the Chicago Tribune revealed that some cellphones did not comply with even the FCC heating limits, let alone biological limits.
Long-term guidelines are needed:
Manufacturers should be required to test their cellphones against long-term biological safety guidelines (over 6 or 30 min) such as Bioinitiative 2012, EUROPAEM 2016, IGNIR 2018 and Seletun 2010, to protect against established adverse effects such as neurological and cardiovascular harm, infertility, electrosensitivity and cancers.
Not using a cellphone makes you happier and more academically successful:
Sensible health advice includes the following.
1. Try to stop using your cellphone altogether.
2. If you need to use a cellphone for a real life-or-death emergency
3. Ask other people not to use their cellphones anywhere near you.
This can be difficult where neighbors use cellphones in an adjoining apartment. Shielding or other protection may be the only solution.
4. Use your iPhone or iPad with a wired connection on airplane mode
For an iPhone, iPad, iPod etc:
It is possible to connect an iPhone to the Internet via an Ethernet cable, without using wifi or cellphone radiation with two original Apple adapters. You can then surf the Internet, use apps and VoIP, but you won't be able to receive phone calls or to send SMS.
Measuring Radiation from a Cellphone:
California Department of Public Health:
Current regulations, as explained in cellphone instruction manuals, require the user to hold the phone a certain distance away from the body. This is to comply with FCC, EU or similar regulations. These regulations are to safeguard the body only from heating. This is now regarded by the majority of scientists as insufficient, since radiation can also lead to cancer and neurological effects such as electrosensitivity, which can occur at far lower levels of exposure.
Berkeley, California requires radiation warnings about mobiles
The CTIA, a wireless radiation industry activist group, failed again to stop the city of Berkeley, California, from warning people that using a cellphone could expose them to radiation. Berkeley's 2016 "Right to Know" ordinance was upheld in court. It requires phone retailers to warn people about radiation risks in carrying phones in pockets and bras.
Cellphones banned in French schools:
From September 2018 the French Minister of Education has announced that cellphones will be banned in schools for students up to the age of 15:
